Partychat…Gold Show….what’s the difference?

Ok I receive way too much questions about what is what. I know, it can be a little confusing so let’s see if I can make it easier.

Partychat

So What’s partychat? Partychat is simply a multi user chat experience….almost nothing more;) No shows involved at that point, just that.

Gold Show

Now what’s this one then?…well, easy, it’s probably what everybody referred as Partychat till now…that’s probably where the confusion comes from. Now if you don’t know what is a Gold Show, watch this video and remember to replace all the “partychat” by “Gold Show” and you got your explanation;)

How do I get it?

At the time I’m writing this, it’s not fully released BUT it won’t be available to everybody. Why? because this needs a consistent, great high speed connection, so if you don’t have it, then sorry but we won’t offer our members a poor quality. You will need at least 1Mb upload speed to be able to stream with a fluid good quality stream.

You can still request the feature now or later. For that, send an email to smsupport@streamate.com and in your email put the following info:

  • Your nickname
  • Your Rating
  • Your Internet upload speed  __Mpbs
  • If you use the HD encoder

…and most important thing, be patient, you are probably the 10000th person to ask them for that;)
